The Deep Dive training involves diving to a maximum depth of 30m where you’ll learn how to stay safe in the deep blue. Deep divers can experience “nitrogen narcosis” and get what we call “narked”, which can feel a little like being drunk – you will be perfectly safe but we will set you some fun tests to show you the affects nitrogen narcosis can have on a diver and teach you how to recognize the signs in yourself and other divers.

The Navigation Dive training shows you how to use of an underwater compass teaches you a variety of underwater distance-measuring techniques and also natural navigation to improve your navigation skills and techniques under water. Did you ever wonder how your dive guide finds the buoy line at the end of the dive? Well now you’ll know!

Out of the dives listed bellow you can choose 3 course dives.

  • PADI AWARE Fish Identification – Learn to identify characteristics of local fish families and species, how to practice fish identification dive planning, organization and procedures and Fish survey techniques and strategies.
  • Boat Diving – Perfect your James Bond back flip! Learn how to enter/exit the water on different boats, how to store your gear, how to use surface lines and how to locate basic boat safety equipment.
  • Diver Propulsion Vehicles (DPV) – DPVs offer a thrilling way to see a lot of underwater territory in a brief amount of time. They scoot you through the water without kicking. A DPV is a great way to see more and have a blast doing it.
  • Multi-level and Computer Diving – Plan dives that extend your bottom time by crediting you for slower nitrogen absorption when you ascend to a shallower depth. That’s the way you really dive, after all.
  • Night Diving – Experience a whole new side to diving and see how the nocturnal sea comes to life under the glow of your dive light; you can witness a whole new array of sea-life that comes out at night and if you turn off your torch, you will witness the unique experience of phosphorescent plankton glowing all around you like tiny stars.
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy (PPB) – Time to work on your underwater lotus position! You will learn how to trim your scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water, streamline to save air and move smoothly through the water, hover effortlessly in both a vertical position and a horizontal position. Divers who master the highest performance levels in buoyancy stand apart.
  • Search and Recovery – You will learn search and recovery dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and how to deal with potential problems, how to use a lift bag and other recovery methods and limited visibility search techniques.
  • Under Water Naturalist – Look closer to see more on your next dive. Look for symbioses, predator/prey and other relationships between aquatic plant and animal life. Learn not just what fish and animals are, but how they interact with each other and the environment.
  • Underwater Videography – Create videos that are interesting, entertaining and worth watching again and again.
