    Bryde Whale sighting in the Gulf of Thailand. Alvaro diving where the first ever to spot bryde whales around the waters of Koh Tao. In January 2010 the first two bryde whales have been spotted half way between Chumphon Pinnacle and Koh Nan Yuan island. The captain of the Alvaro dive boat reacted fast and turned the boat around quickly.     Just last week we saw a fantastically large whale shark in Chumphon pinnacle! Made the whole trip to Thailand worth it for many of our divers. Whalesharks are regular visitors of the larger pinnacles around Koh Tao and make the island one of the few places in the world, where a scuba diver can get so close to the largest shark in the oceans. In general, whalesharks like divers! They just love to swim through the bubbles and get an extra portion of oxygen. Just last week we saw a fantastically large whale shark in Chumphon pinnacle! AIDA ★ Discover Freediving

Have you ever dreamed of how would it be like to feel the ocean as dolphins or whales do?

If you want to try what it is like to Freedive but you don’t have money, time or the confidence in that you can actually do Freediving, jump right in with the AIDA ★ Discover Freediving Course.

Working alongside an AIDA Freediving Instructor, you will start getting the basic knowledge trough theory classes and basic water experience trough in the sea sessions in the beautiful waters of Koh Tao in a nice and relaxed environment in which we don’t need to prove nothing to anyone and just are looking for a new beautiful experience.

Once you have completed the AIDA ★  diving course, we hope you will realise you don’t have any handicaps for Freediving and that this is not a extreme sport but just the opposite something anyone can do even if you never practised any sports before you are a smoker, asthmatic or really unfit. This is the beauty of Freediving the sea welcomes us all when we freedive!!!!!!
